Water in Motion

This is a low impact high energy aqua class.  Develop muscle tone, cardiovascular fitness and improve your balance using your own body weight.  Routines are done to energetic music and exercises concentrate on both lower body and upper body.  Everyone works at their own pace.

Tune Up

Increase muscle definition, burn calories, improve flexibility as well as endurance. Leave feeling refreshed, stretched and energized. Medium resistance , low impact routines blended with ‘Fun ‘ Retro’ Tunes set the pace for this Aqua Fitness Water Workout.– Adjusting routines to fit your own personal goals, always encouraged. using 128-130 BPM. “Let’s Tune Up!

Aqua classes are a fan-favorite in the Wayne area, and for a good reason! This form of exercise offers several health benefits, like:

  • Cardiovascular fitness
  • Builds muscle strength
  • Stress relief
  • Improves lung function

You should wear a swimming suit or swim trunks and a comfortable pair of water shoes. It’s also a good idea to bring a towel and a change of clothes for after the class.

No, you do not need to know how to swim to attend an aqua aerobics class. The class will take place in shallow water where you can comfortably stand and move around. But, we do suggest that you only attend if you are comfortable in bodies of water for long periods of time.

You can expect a full-body workout that uses the resistance of the water to increase muscle strength and endurance. The class will include a combination of cardio exercises, such as running and jumping, as well as strength and conditioning exercises. Your instructor will guide you through the class and provide modifications as needed.

It depends on the condition and the severity. It’s important to consult with your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you have any medical conditions. Your instructor will also be able to provide modifications and adjustments during the class to accommodate different fitness levels and abilities.
