ABOUT THE JOB

Club La Maison seeks a coordinator to develop and execute a multi-faceted marketing and advertising strategy that integrates all available digital, social, and traditional channels. Working as a member of the Club’s management team, the Marketing Director will play a key role in the company’s success by managing campaigns that increase membership leads, generate internal department revenue, and promote the Club’s overall brand message of healthy living throughout the Main Line community. This job may be a full or part time position, depending on the applicant.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The below responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the individual in this position. Other functions may be assigned, and management retains the right to add or change the duties at any time.

1. Management

  • Meet regularly with other managers - Membership, Personal Training, Group Exercise, Children’s Programs, Nutrition, and Massage - to review their department goals and assist them in the development of campaigns that hit their monthly and quarterly KPIs.
  • Oversee the work of, and delegate work to, the Club’s marketing assistant.
  • Develop and adjust the Club’s annual marketing budget and monitor all expenses.

 

2. Website, Search Engine Marketing, and Lead Generation

  • Manage the work of the Club’s digital marketing agency as they develop and maintain www.clublamaison.com.
  • Write, edit, and/or review all copy on the pages of the website.
  • Create, or oversee the creation of, engaging multimedia content that drives user engagement.
  • Analyze and report on monthly web traffic.
  • Manage the work of the Club’s digital marketing agency as they develop and maintain an aggressive SEO + PPC + Local Business Directory strategy.
  • Report on monthly leads generated through the website.
  • Manage the effective use of the Club La Maison mobile app.

 

3. Social Media

  • Develop a social media strategy that integrates with all other marketing initiatives.
  • Create, or oversee the creation of, engaging multimedia content that drives user engagement.
  • Develop and execute social media advertising strategies that integrate with all other advertising efforts.

 

4. Email Marketing

  • Regularly update the Club’s multiple internal email lists.
  • Develop and execute on internal email marketing strategies to the Club’s leads and members.
  • Develop and execute on external email marketing strategies with third-party lists that reach the Club’s targeted demographic.

 

5. Brand Identity

  • Assist in the process of the Club’s rebranding.
  • Review and enforce the proper use of the Club La Maison brand across all collateral.

 

6. Multimedia Content

  • Develop and execute a creative multimedia content strategy that incorporates video, graphics, infographics, and blogs.
  • Disseminate multimedia content both internally and externally, to inform and educate the public on the benefits of healthy living and to promote the available services offered by the Club.

 

7. Traditional Marketing

  • Research the effectiveness of all available traditional marketing channels, such as print, direct mail, radio, television, event sponsorships, etc., and integrate traditional marketing into the overall strategy.
  • Develop relationships with journalists, bloggers, business association executives, and other community leaders and influencers to inform them of all the Club’s services.
  • Creatively promote Club La Maison as the Main Line’s leading health and fitness resource through seminars, events, and other partnerships and sponsorships.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing-related role.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans across a multitude of channels.
  • Excellent copywriting skills; multiple samples and various formats required.
  • Experience producing creative and high-quality multimedia content - multiple samples and formats of videography, photography, and/or graphic design required.
  • Experience either developing a brand identity or enforcing brand identity guidelines throughout an entire company.
  • Understanding of, and ability to analyze, Search Engine Marketing and Digital Advertising trends and data.
