This class is designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Each week is a different routine.
Sculpt your leg muscles and work on your balance while standing at the barre. Light weights for toning arms and floor work for strengthening core and back. Modifications can be made for moves.
Low Impact class.
Older Adult group classes are a fan-favorite in the Wayne area, and for a good reason! This form of exercise offers several health benefits, like:

This class will focus on low-impact exercises that are gentle on the joints, such as chair yoga, resistance band training, and light cardio. We will also incorporate exercises to improve balance and flexibility.
You should bring comfortable workout clothes and athletic shoes. We will provide all the necessary equipment for the class, such as yoga mats, resistance bands, and light weights.
It’s recommended to attend this class at least once or twice a week to see improvements in strength, flexibility, and balance. However, the frequency of attendance is ultimately up to each individual’s fitness goals and schedule.
Yes, our instructors will provide modifications and variations for all exercises to accommodate different physical limitations. However, it’s always a good idea to check with a doctor before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have any chronic conditions.
