GROUP EXERCISE TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
MY TEACHING INSPIRATION:
I joined as a member in 1997 and loved the classes so much, and one day my favorite instructor (shout out to Betty Haddon!) convinced me to try teaching. I never could have done that without her encouragement and guidance.
WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT TEACHING AT CLM:
The members and staff, I love the family atmosphere!
SOMETHING YOU MAY BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT ME:
My husband and I own a small family business (called Aztec Products). We manufacture commercial floor machines and are so thankful to have survived Covid-19. The worst part of the pandemic for me is that I have had to take a hiatus from personal training and am not teaching a lot of classes right now due to my work schedule. I am subbing whenever I can and am the happiest when I am at the gym with the awesome members, some of whom have been coming to CLM since I was just a member (you know who you are!)
I originally chose to join CLM because they provided babysitting and I was a new mom looking for some ME time, so my kids grew up coming to the gym with me. Funny how in the beginning they didn’t want go to the gym, but it didn’t take long before I would have to pry them out of there because they were having so much fun.
