WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME A PERSONAL TRAINER?

I started out Personal Training as a way to supplement my income as a Track and Field Coach; however, I quickly realized I was getting more fulfillment out of my personal training clients than I did my track and field athletes. My continued inspirations in the field though are Rick Mayo, Thomas Plummer, Alwyn Cosgrove and my good friend Whitney Carullo

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT TRAINING AT CLM:

The obvious answer is that I enjoy the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. Seeing people transform physically and mentally keeps me motivated; however, another thing I love  about working at Club La Maison is all of the different personalities you come in contact with on a day to day basis. There are some extremely interesting people that come into the club and, because of the community feel we have here, getting to learn about them and their families is something that really fascinates me.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLIENT SUCCESS STORY:

My most successful client was my client Dan. He had a lot of health issues including high blood pressure, overweight, high cholesterol, and just lived a very sedentary lifestyle. After working with him for about 9 months he lost 30 pounds, all of his numbers that were concerning to the doctors fell into an acceptable range and he was able to reduce or completely eliminate most of his medications.

WHAT IS SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULD BE SURPRISED TO LEARN ABOUT YOU:

I ran track all through high school and all through college and continued to coach for 10 years after my running career was over and still… I absolutely hate running.

I am married and have 2 children and my happy place is on the water with a fishing rod in hand.
