Years of experience teaching: I have been teaching for over 14 years.

Swim area(s) of expertise:  I have experience teaching ages ranging from 2 years to 86 years, and ability levels from very beginner to swim team. My area of expertise is with youth ages 4 to 12, but I can teach all with no problem.

How I got into teaching: I have been working in aquatics since I was 15 years old and have been swimming on swim teams for even longer than that! I first started at the Philadelphia Dept. of Recreation as a Red Cross lifeguard and volunteer swim instructor. I eventually went on to become a certified instructor at the West Philadelphia YMCA for about 9 years. Aside from teaching swimming, I have most recently worked as a Lifeguard Instructor for Jeff Ellis and Associates and as a Lifeguard Coordinator at the Upper Main Line YMCA.

Available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
